Dream it up: designing beyond your pantry

Let Ellie design without being limited to what's on your shelf — then see which colors you already have and which you'd need to buy.

Normally Ellie builds recipes around what's in your pantry. Dream it up lets her off that leash — she designs for the look you want, even if it calls for colors you don't own yet, then shows you where you stand.

Turning it on

Each wizard mode has the Dream it up toggle.

Heads up: It surfaces a little differently depending on where you are. In Guided, it only appears after you pick the "Just experimenting" occasion — and switching it on auto-skips the Colours step, since the whole point is to roam past your shelf.

Reading the results

When Ellie's done, each color she chose is sorted into one of three:

  • In stock — you've already got it.
  • Close match — you have something near enough to stand in.
  • Not in pantry — you'd need to buy it.

Turning a dream into a shopping trip

The Not in pantry colors can go straight onto your shopping list, so a recipe you dreamed up becomes a list of what to order to actually make it.
