Resuming or dismissing the studio setup wizard
The studio setup wizard helps you get Hi Ellie ready for your first pour. Here's how to resume it if you left partway through, and how to dismiss it when you're done.
When you first sign up, Hi Ellie walks you through two setup wizards:
- The onboarding wizard — your profile, experience level, and studio preferences
- The studio setup wizard — adding your first resin, colorants, and mold
If you didn't finish the studio setup wizard the first time, a banner on your dashboard invites you to pick up where you left off. Here's how to manage it.
Resuming setup
If the "Finish setting up your studio" banner appears on your dashboard, tap it to reopen the studio setup wizard. It picks up from the beginning — there's no mid-wizard resume point, but the steps are short and quick to work through again.
What the wizard sets up
The studio setup wizard adds:
- Your default resin (the one you use most often)
- Your first colorants
- Your first mold
Everything added here goes straight into your pantry. You can edit or add to any of it at any time from the Pantry tab — the wizard is just a faster way to get started.
Dismissing the banner
If you've already set up your pantry directly (without the wizard), or you just want to get rid of the banner, tap the × in the top-right corner of the dashboard banner. This permanently dismisses the wizard — it won't come back.
Starting from scratch
If you want to redo the studio setup wizard from scratch, simply go to Settings, and click Restart Welcome Tour.
